We had a fantastic time at EULAR 2025 on Friday, 13 June 2025, where we were invited by Digital Rheumatology to run a hands-on capillaroscopy activity at their booth. Together with Alistair Gooch from Inspectis and their high-end digital capillaroscope, we showcased the latest innovations in AI-assisted capillaroscopy and how they fit seamlessly into clinical workflows.
What we showed live
- Guided image acquisition: positioning, focus, illumination and field-of-view tips for consistent, high-quality nailfold images using the Inspectis Capillaroscope.
- Quality checks & standardisation: on-the-spot feedback so clinicians can capture usable frames the first time.
- AI-assisted measurements and pattern suggestions: fast, reproducible assistance to support interpretation and reduce variability.
- Structured reporting workflows: turning images into clear, shareable reports that fit real clinics and research studies.
- See how AI tools in capillaroscopy improve diagnostic quality, confidence, and precision, from image standardization to structured reporting.
Why it matters
Capillaroscopy is powerful, but quality and consistency are everything. Pairing a top-tier optical system with AI decision support helps clinicians:
- improve confidence in image interpretation,
- maintain consistency across operators and visits, and
- gain speed and save time without sacrificing precision.
Thank you
A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and shared cases. And special thanks to the Digital Rheumatology team for hosting us, and to Alistair (Inspectis) for the great collaboration. Our co-founders Eduardo Ramos and Borja Gracia were delighted to meet so many clinicians and researchers pushing the field forward.
Missed it?
If you couldn’t join us at this event, we’re happy to walk your team through the same capillaroscopy tips, AI assistance, and reporting tailored to your setting.
