CAPRIO is a clinical study by the Tal Research Group at MIT exploring whether non-invasive nailfold images, videos, and survey data can help define a new clinical vital sign.

The study compares capillaroscopes and builds datasets to develop machine-learning models for investigating blood flow, inflammation, and other potential disease biomarkers. Capillary.io is used in the study's capillaroscopy research workflow.
